You come at Kasim, you best not miss.
That’s the lesson for critics of Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, who pulls no punches in this interview on V-103 Atlanta’s Ryan Cameron Morning Show.
As the race to replace the term-limited mayor heats up, Reed takes issue with some campaign rhetoric directed at him.
“That’s the way [candidates running for mayor] get in the newspaper or television… they say my name,” to stir up controversy.
After calling out the offending candidates by name, Reed continues: “Folks ought to run against the people running for mayor – because I’d beat them all.”
The mayor closes the interview by rattling off an impressive list of achievements during his tenure – and his sky-high, 68 percent approval rating.
